The Big Question

Do I want to make dinner tonight or should I give everyone 'dang quesadillas' knowing that Carson is probably going to be working late?

Big Announcement

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am heading over to Salt Lake City this weekend to audition for So You Think You Can Dance! I'm so excited and I think that its going to be an awesome experience! My goal is to make it to the choreography round and take it from there. Wish me luck and send good vibes my way. If you're in SLC on Friday, I'm auditioning at the Rose Wagner Theater so come visit me in line! This has been many years in the making and I'm so excited for it!

Fourth of July

We had a fairly low key and rainy fourth of July. But that's okay, we still had fun. Got the kids all gussied up in their fourth outfits and headed to Hard Rock which is a yearly fourth of July tradition. The only time we haven't gone on the fourth since we've lived here was the year Audrey was born. We got home and got everyone napped and then went to a friends house for dinner and games. Totally fun!
The two kool-aid lovers. I made the skirt and Siobhan's shirt. I think they turned out so cute! Especially love the red boots with Audrey's skirt (thanks Meredith).

Audrey-she got firecracker hair for the occasion. I think it looks like a string of firecrackers

Siobhan-she got firework hair. You can't really see it, but it was meant to look like the firworks in the sky. It was all twisty and spikey with ribbons sticking out of it.

Poor Mr. Will didn't get anything homemade. I was going to make him a pair of plaid shorts, but I couldn't get them done. He's still cute without them though.

Mr. Will with his two big sisters. Not sure why he was so sad to have Siobhan hold him.

All the kids minus Mr. Will-he was asleep in the carseat-Saturday evening at our friend's house.

Happy Birthday Audrey!

I can't believe that my little goofy pants is already 2! I remember so vividly the day that I went to the doctor and he sent me to the hospital to be induced. That was a crazy day! Audrey is such a beautiful addition to our family and we would not be the same without her. She is super emotional and always so stubborn, but I love her for it! She is a girl who knows what she wants! She's totally potty trained now and is so proud of herself. She's really becoming her own person and it is so fun to see her blossom into the young girl that she is becoming! She tries so hard to keep up with her big sister, but she always makes sure to remind us, in one way ot the other, that she is her own person! She is also such a sweet big sister to Mr. Will. I never have to worry about him being without his blanket or chewey because she so on top of it. She always makes sure that he has those things near at all times! She also love to give him kisses!
We had a great time celebrating her birthday. Carson had the day off so we got to celebrate with Daddy the whole day. We went to story time at the library, lunch at one of our favorite restaurants called Cheeburger, Cheeburger, took her shopping at the mall, opened presents and had a yummy little cake. It was so much fun!

This was Audrey's first present of the day. I made this dress for her and I'm so proud of it! I'm actually really surprised that it ended up fitting her becuase everytime I tried to fit it on her, she got mad and ran away. It is actually a refashion that I will blog about in a minute.

A cute pair of pants from Nama Nadene. There is a really cute sweater that goes with, but the picture was blurry.
The girls at Cheeburger, Cheeburger.
Adurey's princess coach from Avo Mike (grandpa in portuguese) and Debbie. She loves it and Siobhan loves to steal it from her.

The little birthday cake that we had. No it's not homemade, but it was yummy!
