In Relation to the Next Post

I'm really glad that I planted my garden last week, but it's supposed to snow AGAIN! Luckily, I started almost everything from seeds, so I think we'll be mostly okay. the pictures aren't much, but I'm really excited to see how it turns out! Siobhan had so much helping me plant the peas, tomatoes, strawberries and sunflowers. I know she's going to love seeing them grow....if they grow. I've never done it before so we'll see what happens. But I figure, I'm falling President Kimball's instruction and planting my garden so whether it grows or not, I have to see some kind of blessings for my efforts, right? On the plus side, the basil that Siobhan and I planted on the windowsill of our kitchen is florishing so that's awesome. It's not ready to use yet, but Siobhan loves looking at it everyday to see how much bigger it has gotten. We also did some peas in a glass with a wet paper towel and they are starting to sprout and she loves that. So I'm seeing some fruits of my labor! Hopefully the snow won't ruin my work!
