So I watched The Office season finale and first of all, I'm so sad that we all have to wait until Sept 25th for the new season!!!! Too long! Oh well. So, what did you all think about the episode? I think that it might be one of the funniest ones that have been on in a long time. I'm kind of sad to think about all of the story lines and character arcs that we missed out on during the strike. there better not be a SAG strike.
So, I have to say that I'm glad that Toby left Dunder Mifflin Scranton. He is by far my least favorite character and was starting to get a little creepy with all of his pining away for Pam. I wonder how much Jim picked up on with that. Anyway, I'm kind of with Michael as far as the level of excitement goes.
The whole Ryan Jim thing that was going on was awesome and I'm so glad Ryan got what he had coming to him. However, I was surprised to see that he was arrested for fraud and not for drugs. Interesting. I wonder if that will come up in the next season. I'm sure it will.
So Jan's pregnant! What?!? I thought for sure that she was going to tell Michael that it was Hunter in regards to the song that Hunter wrote that was so clearly about Jan. I am going to be kind of a daddy. And P.S. congratulations Michael for potentially screwing up the most promising relationship that will ever come your way. Am I over thinking this all?
I really can't believe that Angela said yes to Andy. That's never going to happen by the way. By the end of the episode I was almost crying because Jim didn't get to propose to Pam. I thought for sure that when we got to last commercial break, it was going to happen during the 'little part' because that would have been perfect. Not many people stick around for the little part so it would have been so covert. Although, I do like what they came up with instead. He He He!
Now, onto my predictions for next season. We cannot have another Office wedding. We spent half of season two planning the wedding that never happened, Phyllis had Pam's dream wedding in season three, so really, I don't think that story line should be played again. So, if The Office writing team were to hire me, my season premier would go like this. We open at Pam and Jim's party celebrating the marriage that took place over the summer then they eloped to Vagas or Mexico or Hawaii. However, as usual, shenanigans and hijinx ensue as Michael and Jan show up and she's preggers, and then the sordid love triangle that is Angela, Andy and Dwight plays out all while Creed is steeling something. Cut to Jim and Pam's co-talking head discussing why they didn't have the wedding in town. They would have had to let Michael walk her down the aisle, Kevin's band would have to play, Kelly would have to be stylist, and Creed would have been steeling something and all would have ruined the wedding. Was eloping and having the subsequent party ruined really that much better? Just my thoughts.
So, if you feel so inclined, share your thoughts with me. What do you think will happen with Jim and Pam when she goes N.Y.? Will they get Ryan on drug possession? Whose going to get the vacant spot at corporate? Will Dwight punch Andy? And seriously, can Michael really stay with Jan?

Your description here was almost as good as watching the show. :-) Actually, I haven't watched The Office since Season 1 but I keep thinking I need to start watching it again...
I loved how Holly thought what's his bucket was slow. Oh my gosh, that made me laugh the entire episode!
