Anyone Can Cook

This is going to be a quick post because I have a lot of posts to do and I don't want to bore everyone with like 8 marathon posts. Bare Essentials is what you're getting. Need to know stuff. And some pictures.

For Siobhan's third birthday party, we decided to go with a theme of Ratatouille. Most 3 year olds would probably want fairies or princesses or something, which is awesome. But I'd been planning this party for like a year in my brain, so we did it. And it was AWESOME! My awesome sisters made adorable aprons for all of our Little Chefs and they all got to make their own pizzas. The kids played a bunch, we opened presents (Siobhan got some awesome stuff by the way) and had some delicious cake. I went against my grain and, gasp, got a store bought cake. It was a little spendier than I would normally do, but totally worth it as I wasn't stressing the whole day about making and decorating a cake that wouldn't turn out nearly as good as the picture in my head. So mad props to Wal Mart for an awsome and delicious Ratatouille cake. For party favors all of the kids got cute wooden spoons and got to keep their aprons. In keeping with the theme of the movie, the invites were in French as well as the tags on the party favors and everything was done in red, white and black and white gingham. We put the movie on to set the mood and everyone relaxed and had a good time. Hands down, best kid party I've ever thrown!

The Little Chefs making their pizzas. Of course Siobhan was snacking on the toppings!

Siobhan opening presents. She got some great stuff. She has awesome friends!

The cake. I don't have any pics of her blowing our her candles because our battery died and the other wasn't charged. That's also why we don't have a ton of pictures in the first place.
