Happy One Month Birthday Mr. Will....Two Days Late

I can't believe that it's already been an entire month! I hate that time flies when good things are happening. Is that some strange trick of the universe? To make the good times fleeting moments that we barely get to appreciate and the hard times seem to last an eternity only to make the lessons learned that much more ingrained on your psyche? But I digress. It has been a wonderful month! This little boy is such a joy to have in our home. I continually marvel at what a good baby he is and how laid back and chill he is.
His hair is, as usual, a huge talking point with all the new people he meets and as always, a huge source of vanity on my part. If only I could tame that bed head. Never thought you'd hear somebody say that about one month old did ya? With the girls, I could always do a pony or put on a head band when they had bed head....you can't do that with a boy and rightfully so. We let the taussled bed head slide when we're at home, but he usually gets a fouxhawk when we're going out. At least I can admit to the vanity.
He's still not sure if he likes his chewey or not (pacifier). Sometimes I think that he hates becasue he will fight so hard to push it out with his tounge when I put it in his mouth. Other times I find him holding it in his mouth like this (see picture) with his hand wrapped firmly around it. It might also be the style of chewey that's bothering him. I've never used this kind before and I think that he has a hard time keeping it in his mouth.

Mr. Will is getting very good at holding his head up and loves to look at the world around him. I'm pretty sure that he's starting to recognize my voice. The other day at dance a class a friend was holding him and I was sort of standing behind her. He kept craning his head around to find me while I spoke. It was really cute. He's decided that he likes to be fussy towards the end of the night, but it's a small price to pay when he ends up sleeping 6 hours. He's eats very well and is doing awesome on the modified 3-4 hour feeding schedule that we started doing. We went to the doctor on Wednesday and here are his stats:
Weight: 9 lbs 3.5 oz (49%)
Height: 21 inches (49%)
I don't remember his head measurement, but it was the 50%. It doesn't get more average than that does it?)

Just look at that face. I know the hat doesn't match his outfit, but the girls needed to make sure that he wasn't left out while we were playing dress up!

These girls love their baby brother...but it's sure hard to get them to hold still for a picture with him!

He is so adorable! It is possible that the chewy could be too big for his mouth, I know it was for Cayman. He kept gagging on it. I think it went too far in or something. But, again, I love his hair!
