Last Saturday we got a load together to take over to the thrift store. I'm disappointed that we don't have a DI here and the closest Goodwill is about 40 minutes away. We can call different organizations and they will come get our stuff, but it's always on their schedule, not mine, which is hard when you want the stuff gone that day and you end up having to wait a few weeks. Well, my friend told me about a thrift store here in town. I was so excited. I had gone a couple of days before and found out that it was charitable thrift store and I was actually able to get some fun things. So last Saturday, we loaded up and took everything over. While Carson was unloading the boxes, I decided to take a look inside where I found the exact thing I was looking for, a small shelf. It was bright purple when I bought it, but with a coat of black spray paint, it became the shelf in our powder bathroom.
After the thrift store we were driving through down town Castle Rock and we saw the Farmer's Market and decided to take a look because it was the last weekend. We got some delicious pasta and then I wouldn't let us leave without getting some produce. Really, can you go to the Farmer's Market without getting produce. The girls had a great time!
Next was a trip to Costco and home for naps. Carson had a lot of homework that night so the girls and I had a fun girls night in. We watched Enchanted and had chocolate milk and popcorn. Lots of fun!
This Saturday was a little more low key as I had rehearsal this morning. After I got home we took a fun trek to Sports Authority in Lone Tree to meet Nastia Liukin. We told Siobhan about last night and she was so excited! We got in line and received our autographs and when we were leaving Siobhan was so sad because she didn't get to see Nastia do somersaults. It was so cute and she talked about it for the rest of day. All last night and this morning we practiced having her say 'Hi Nastia'. She had it down so well and then when she was face to face, she froze up. It was so cute.

When we were driving home we saw another farmer's market so we had to stop. Fresh basil, fresh parsley and a poblano pepper were on the list. It was fun! After naps Siobhan and I went on a outing to th Dollar Store and Michaels. Then we came home and while Daddy was at the Priesthood session we made delicious Thai Basil Chicken Noodle Soup! It was a very fun evening! A great culmination to a fun day!

CUTE HAIR! You look adorable. You should go even shorter like Halle Berry or Natalie Protman. You could totally pull it off.
