I've been doing a lot of projects around the house mostly thanks in part to Meredith turning me onto the Joys of Home blog. It's the best! She does er decorating with items that she finds at The Dollar Store and thrifts stores. It's the best! I also got my hair cut a little over two weeks ago. Most of you could probably tell from my photo shoot pictures but now I'm clarifying. I figured that as soon as the baby comes it's going to come off anyway, so why delay the inevitable? There are a lot of pictures in this blog to keep reading!
A mirror that I puchased at Big Lots for like $5. With the black paint and sanding, I think it looks awsome! Now I just have to find a place to put it!
The beginnings of my sofet decor. More things have since been added and I'm still tweaking it.
A halloween decoration that I made. Modified from a post on Joys of Home. I got the wreaths at the Dollar Store and the candle sticks at a garage sale!
The chair I re-did. I wish I had taken a before pic. It was blue with blue ginham. I think this is a very good makeover!

Fun projects! You have been very adventurous in your projects, I'm impressed! I wish the pictures were a little bigger so I could see them better, I just can't tell what's on the top of your cabinets. Wow, I thought your hair looked shorter in those photo shoot pics.
Yes, it's official: LOVE the hair! Maybe having babies is what it will take to get me to cut mine really short...
